Data Steward: Research Data Management Support

The recipient of the digital open badge has completed the 4th Module "Research Data Management Support” of the Data Steward training organised by the Tampere University. After completing the module, the recipient of the digital open badge will be able to understand what kind of expertise and networks are needed when building functional data management support services for an organisation. This badge is part of the Data Steward meta badge. The training has been produced as part of Data Management Training Development Project funded by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Criteria

By the end of this Data steward –training Module 4, the badge recipient is able to:

Recognise the role of RDM Support Services in different kinds of organisations and the role of data steward in this context
Identify ways of building and developing RDM support services in an organisation
Identify different target groups for support services & implement a variety of services suitable for those groups
Recognise the role of the wider RDM network

Competence has been demonstrated through assignments completed during and after the training.
