Needs Assessments (2023 Libya floods response)

RedR UK is a leading provider of training and learning to the humanitarian sector. Founded in 1980, RedR has since provided technical and non-technical capacity building services to tens of thousands of participants and hundreds of organisations all over the world.

This participation-based badge is awarded to participants who have completed a two-hour course on Needs Assessments, which includes compulsory pre-reading and attending one webinar. Upon completion of the training, participants are able to:

• Explain the importance of undertaking a needs assessment at the start of the project cycle
• Describe the types of data you might want to collect to inform your work and describe how you can collect these data
• List tools to analyse collected data.

This badge is issued to participants who engaged satisfactorily with live and asynchronous elements of this course, which require them to dedicate 2 hours of time to this training. There is no formal assessment.
