To earn this badge, the earner has:
- facilitated Foundations of Connected Communities training sessions (in person or online) as part of the Learning Academy programme
- completed required preparation, including reviewing programme materials and participating in any relevant briefing or support sessions
- demonstrated a sound understanding of the training content, including the Connected Communities vision and workforce principles, conditions for effective and creative working, recognising power, strength-based approaches, relational working and action planning, and applied this knowledge when facilitating learning for others
- applied core facilitation techniques during training sessions, including setting ground rules, managing interactive activities and group discussion, and encouraging participation and reflection
- demonstrated commitment, care and professionalism throughout the facilitation process, creating safe and inclusive learning spaces for participants
- completed required session processes, including recording attendance and signposting participants to feedback mechanisms
- worked collaboratively with fellow Delivery Champions and the Learning Academy core team, contributing to peer learning, shared reflection and continuous improvement
