Embedding the SDGs across the Curriculum
This course will be a follow-on from the ‘Introducing Education for Sustainability’ digital badge to provide two linked stacked options for HE and FE staff. The course will require 25 learner hours over a six-week period, after which learners can claim their digital badge with a follow-on two-week facilitator digital badge. The aim is to create a dynamic community of practice across the higher and further education sector on ESD and the SDGs aligned with the work of the SDSN.

The National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, which operates under the aegis of the Higher Education Authority (HEA), is the national body responsible for leading and advising on the enhancement of teaching and learning in Irish higher education.
Criteria
The main learning outcomes include:
- Demonstrate an ability to critically explore the SDGs and how they may apply across all disciplines.
- Critically evaluate and analyze SDG teaching, learning and assessment approaches within the context of different disciplines.
- Explore opportunities to utilize inter- and transdisciplinary approaches to embedding the SDGs across the curriculum.
