FIELD Evaluation
This badge is for the FIELD Evaluation module, part of the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) pathway. This badge demonstrates the learner has essential knowledge of the different types of evaluation and the principles that guide the overall evaluation planning process, in line with the FIELD Programme’s guidance.
The Evaluation module takes approximately 1 hour to complete.

Criteria
The earner of this badge can successfully demonstrate that they:
- Can recognise the purpose and timings of different evaluation types
- Can list the steps involved in creating a summary evaluation table
- Can describe the principles of evaluation criteria
- Can identify key questions that should be asked around evaluation criteria
- Can describe the purpose and elements of the Terms of Reference planning tool
- Can explain the importance of a gender-sensitive MEAL approach
This badge is earned by completing the necessary activities, knowledge check tasks and feedback requests within FIELD Evaluation.
