This badge is a recognition of skills and knowledge in the field of data engineering and Microsoft Fabric platform, as well as the completion of the Data Engineering with Fabric course. The scope of the course is one European study credit (1 ECTS). The Data Engineering with Fabric course is the final course out of six on the Data Engineering Essentials Study Path (9 ECTS). The Data Engineering Essentials Study Path is part of the Data Skills microdegree. Criteria

This badge can be earned by successfully completing the Data Engineering with Fabric course. Completing the course successfully requires the passage of all the exercises. The course consists of contents about foundational concepts of Microsoft Fabric environment, as well as deeper understanding of practices of data warehouses and data lakehouse infrastructure.

The course consists of multimodal theoretical content, practical exercises, and knowledge checks. The course can be completed independently on the Edukamu study platform developed by Kajaani University of Applied Sciences.

The course is organized by Microsoft, Kajaani University of Sciences, and mentor companies. The course and the Data Skills microdegree is part of the Microsoft Skills for Jobs study program.
