This milestone badge consists of 5 to 7 theme-based courses, organized into modules, that provide expertise in AI regulation and responsibility. The combination of badges introduces the basics of the AI Act and corporate responsibility. In addition, it covers issues related to responsibilities and oversight of the use of AI, as well as questions of ESG reporting and key legal issues of the use of AI in specific contexts.  The Responsible AI-Powered Organization milestone badge recipient has earned 5 to 7 badges: - Fundamentals of the AI Act (1 ECTS) - Sustainable Business Law and Corporate Responsibility Basics (1 ECTS) - AI Liability (1 ECTS) - AI Compliance (1 ECTS) - AI Regulation in Context: marketing, recruitment, health, and public sector (1 ECTS) - Intersections of AI and sustainability (1 ECTS) - ESG Reporting (1 ECTS)

Criteria

The Responsible AI-Powered Organization badge recipient:

  • understands the regulatory framework and fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence and responsibility, as well as their interrelations

  • comprehends the opportunities and risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence from a regulatory perspective

  • understands the key features and practices related to sustainability and ESG due diligence

  • can identify ways to apply what they have learned in their work and organization, as well as in developing their own expertise.

The studies correspond to EQF level 7 / Dreyfuss Competent Performer level (3/5).

Responsible AI-Powered Organization competence training was conducted in collaboration between the Faculty of Law at the University of Helsinki and the Center for Continuing Education HY+, as part of a pilot for work-life-oriented, micro-credential competence training, funded by the Service Centre for Continuous Learning and Employment. 

An individual competency badge has been granted for each module.
