Each year since 2011, the Open Education Awards for Excellence (OEAwards) provide recognition for contributions to the Open Education community, recognizing people, resources, and practices that exemplify excellence in the field.

This certifies the recipient has been nominated for an award by a member of the open education community and will be considered in the review process for the awards issued in October 2025. Regardless of the selection of winners, Open Education Global celebrates and shares the efforts all nominated open educators.
"The Collaborative Library" has been nominated in the Individual Awards category (Leader). This nomination was submitted by Shahbaz Sendi, Salha Mohammed Abdallah Abdo, Lisa Wallace, Maria Zakoula, and Adrian Booth.
"The top reason this nomination deserves to be recognised with a 2025 Open Education Award for Excellence is its transformative impact on equitable access to high-quality learning resources, demonstrating innovation, inclusivity, and a sustainable commitment to the principles of open education."
