Writing Skills

The Writing Skills course in the My Digital Backpack is designed to help students develop essential third-level academic writing skills. The course is divided into a series of units, each focusing on a key topic in academic writing. Learners engage with interactive content, practice activities, downloadable resources, and final quizzes to check their understanding and progress. By completing this course, students will enhance their ability to write clearly, structure academic work effectively, and communicate ideas with confidence and accuracy. The Academic Writing Skills course was created by the ATU Teaching and Learning Centre for the HigherEd4All and iNOTE projects, both funded by the Higher Education System Innovation and Transformation Call 2018. My Digital Backpack was developed under the N‑TUTORR programme and funded by the European Union under the NextGenerationEU initiative, as part of Ireland’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).
