Leading in Cybersecurity

Completion of the Leading in Cybersecurity programme developed and delivered by IMI with Technology Ireland ICT Skillnet and supported by Cyber Ireland. This is a 7 day programme within which participants: 1. Understand what it means to be an inspirational leader in the cyber security industry. 2. Explore different personality and communication preferences. 3. Learn how to understand and communicate effectively within and outside the cyber security industry. 4. Become better equipped to manage and grow others both in person and online. 5. Strengthen their understanding of team roles and dynamics, and what this means for them as cyber security leaders. 6. Learn the characteristics of and how to build high performing teams in the cyber security industry. 7. Become better prepared to cultivate an inclusive and supportive culture for high performance retention. 8. Become better equipped to balance multiple stakeholder needs including customers and multicultural headquarters. 9. Expand their thinking beyond their team and function to the wider context of the organisation, the role of cybersecurity in business and the future of the industry.
