Student Home Energy Auditor

SOS UK is working to transform education, so people protect the climate and nature.

Earning Criteria:

• Earner has taken part in ‘Introduction to home energy auditing’ training course. The training developed the skills and knowledge needed to conduct a home energy audit and offer home energy advice. It also covers a basic introduction to sustainability, climate education and energy efficiency.
• Earner has undertaken home energy audits, including their own home and the homes of fellow students privately renting whilst studying in the United Kingdom. This requires effective attention to detail, professional conduct, and demonstration skills. Volunteering for this project also enhances digital literacy skills.
• Earner has contributed to the Student Energy Action for Life project, which aims to reduce student exposure to fuel poverty through providing high-quality home energy advice to students, living in the private rented sector.
