This Digital Open Badge is awarded to staff who delivered a presentation at the INGENIUM Staff Academy focusing on student-centered learning, blended learning and connected research and education during the 10 Days of INGENIUM hosted in Sofia, Bulgaria, June 2026. The Staff Academy is a twice-yearly forum within the alliance where educators showcase, share, and transfer innovative pedagogical approaches while co-developing future-ready teaching practices. It brings together colleagues from partner universities for hands-on workshops and interactive sessions that strengthen student-centered learning, connect research and education, and advance blended, hybrid, and challenge-based approaches. Each edition features multiple 90-minute sessions led by partner universities, fostering cross-disciplinary exchange, transferability of good practices, and a growing community of practice across INGENIUM. The Sofia 2026 edition was organised as part of the 10 Days of INGENIUM and focuses on innovative and collaborative teaching approaches, with an emphasis on co-creation, interdisciplinary learning, and pedagogical transformation in higher education. By participating as speaker, earners contribute to the diffusion of effective teaching methods across the alliance and support their adoption at institutional level, in line with INGENIUM’s strategic objectives for innovative pedagogy and lifelong learning.
