OEWeek Ambassadors volunteered to participate in Open Education Week as a visible, active supporter and engaged participant in the distributed activities organized by the community that take place over OEWeek. Ambassadors showed up as an act of care and also shared reflections back to the community.

Open Education Global (OEGlobal) is a dedicated international non-profit organization that serves as a global advocate for open education. Criteria

Ambassadors aimed to inform event planners before an event that they would be present and came to online webinars with a recognizable background screen that identified their role. They were present to listen and contribute to discussions, and also reported via "sharebacks" highlights and reflections posted to LinkedIn tagged #OEweekAMbassadors.

As an OEWeek Ambassador Michael LaMagna shared back reflections from 1 Open Education Week Event
