Competence Objectives

The student teacher designs an assessment process for their teaching in the chosen field of study/competences.

Assessment criteria

The badge recipient is able to:

  • design the assessment process in accordance with the principles of personalisation and the current regulations
  • describe the role of assessment at different stages of the learning process, such as before, during and when identifying and recognising competences
  • apply a wide range of assessment methods as part of the learning process, including digital opportunities, and justifies their choice of methods
  • use multi-faceted assessment, engaging the learner and other actors in the learning environment, based on the principle of continuous assessment
  • evaluate their own performance as an assessor at both individual and organisational level
  • understand the economic and welfare implications of their own activities.

Competence Demonstration

When applying for the badge, please provide a link to a shared document, video or other material (e.g. portfolio) in which you describe the assessment process and reflect on and demonstrate your competence in a comprehensive way.

Consider the assessment process model from the perspective of your own practice, organisational practice and quality. Describe how assessment is linked to the resources available and to the well-being of the teacher and the student.

Ensure that the content of all assessment criteria is reflected in the documentation.
