STUDENT AMBASSADOR
As a Student Ambassador you will have made a real difference to the experiences of your peer students as part of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Faculty of Wellbeing, Education and Language Studies internship scheme. To recognise the contribution you have made we would like to award you a digital badge on behalf of all the students and staff you will have supported.

To earn this badge you will have contributed in the following ways...

Training

Completed mandatory annual training, including in Data Protection, PREVENT Duty and Safeguarding.

Involvement

Been an active member of the group. This will have included being involved in monthly MS Teams meetings, either on the day or through watching recordings and reading minutes of the meeting. This might have included co-chairing or contributing to initiatives/actions as part of the group’s action plan.

Participation

Engaged in digital group activities conducted through MS Teams, for example commenting on forum threads or adding ideas to jamboards/working walls.

Staff engagement and communication

Kept in touch with the relevant programme staff representative and communicated with other staff as relevant to your activities. This might have included involvement in staff recruitment as a student representative.

Representation

Championed student voice and wellbeing within or on behalf of the programme. This is likely to have involved co-ordinating and/or participating in digital initiatives, which might have included activity in forums and social media platforms. This could also have included constructing and contributing to student voice-related online events.

Networking

Introduced yourself to Open University Student Association (OUSA) representatives.

Feedback

Offered feedback to the group about experiences of being an ambassador, including any ideas for how the group might be changed for future ambassadors.
