The UCC Professional Skills digital badge has been developed to provide new staff with an effective introduction to key UCC systems.
The content of the badge covers Finance, Marketing & Brand Impact, Media & Communications, and Digital Education. The badge paves the way to effective, confident working in these areas by offering a clear overview of each topic as well as practical, step-by-step guides to the platforms in use at UCC. These include Agresso (Finance), Terminal 4 (Marketing & Brand Impact), Workvivo (Media & Communication), in addition to Canvas, Panopto and M365 (Digital Education).
Upon completion of the badge, earners will have the awareness and practical knowledge that underpins effective and confident working within UCC.

Criteria
- Recognise the key components of UCC’s financial systems and processes and apply practical knowledge of working in Agresso.
- Demonstrate knowledge of online safety, appropriate use of UCC social media, website development and the application of UCC marketing guidelines.
- Make effective use of internal communications channels at UCC with particular reference to Workvivo.
- Identify key components of Digital Education at UCC and apply practical knowledge of Canvas, Panopto and M365 platforms.
