2026 Open Education Award For Excellence Award Winner

Open Education Global (OEGlobal) is a dedicated international non-profit organization that serves as a global advocate for open education. It comprises a diverse community of educators, students, researchers, innovators, activists, and policymakers who are united in transforming education systems worldwide. Since 2008, OEGlobal has been at the forefront of the global Open Education movement, promoting the application of open principles across all educational areas.

The recipient of this badge was nominated for a 2026 Open Education Award by a member of the Open Education community and upon evaluations of the Review Committee, is hereby recognized with a 2026 Open Education Award and added to the Award Winners Hall of Fame.

As a represenmtative of HAN University's Comprehensive OER Strategy, Marja Versantvoort has been recognized with a 2026 Excellence in Open Education Award in the Open Practice Awards Category, specifically as a University’s Comprehensive OER Strategy. This achievement is documented as one of the 300 OEAward Winners recognized by Open Education Global since 2011.
