T-REX Digital Badge: Using Evidence to Address Educational Disadvantage
The overarching aim of this Digital Badge (developed in partnership with Stranmillis University College, Belfast) is to support educators to enable them to best meet the needs of those pupils furthest from educational opportunity. We aim to do this by building understanding (on the issues of educational disadvantage) and research skills (to facilitate evidence informed decision making and practices).

The National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, which operates under the aegis of the Higher Education Authority (HEA), is the national body responsible for leading and advising on the enhancement of teaching and learning in Irish higher education.
Criteria
- attend online live webinars;
- undertake self-directed learning with online course material (including lessons and activities);
- engage with fellow learners via the T-REX discussion forum (accessed via Home - T-Rex).
