This badge recognises consultants who have demonstrated — and had independently validated — that artificial intelligence is an embedded part of how they deliver, not an experiment alongside it. Earners qualify by one of two routes. Either they hold three to five AI skills assessed at Intermediate level or above, meaning they apply each skill independently on real work, drawn from Devoteam's canonical 100-skill AI taxonomy; or they hold a current, verified AI certification from a recognised technology partner such as Google, Microsoft, AWS, ServiceNow or NVIDIA (or similar Partner AI Certification). In both routes the earner must additionally evidence a 20% measurable productivity uplift on work that is real, routine and aligned to their role — for example a standard task delivered in materially less time, a higher volume of output at equal quality, fewer rework cycles on AI-assisted deliverables, or scope taken on that previously required a second specialist. Evidence is drawn from before-and-after comparisons, two or three concrete examples from the previous 90 days, or written confirmation from a project lead, account director or client. Every claim is reviewed and signed off by the earner's manager in a formal validation session.
