The holder of this badge has been active as mentor in the INGENIUM SDG Sustainable Development Goals Hackathon 12-13 November 2025, where students from 10 partner Universities across Europe signed up to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams and tackle real-world sustainability challenges. Over an intensive period, participants explored innovative solutions to problems related to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while also considering how their idea could evolve into a viable business concept. The hackathon fostered international collaboration, creativity, and entrepreneurship — encouraged students to think beyond borders and disciplines. The mentors were from academia, business, and the public sector and helped the student teams to refine their ideas, develop prototypes, and pitch their solutions to a jury of experts.

INGENIUM is an alliance of ten institutions of higher education from ten European countries. We seek to enable each member of the network to offer high-quality study and qualification programmes with digital components which are shared within the INGENIUM Alliance. Due to the internationalisation of courses and an increase in student and staff mobility, the promotion of intercultural competence among teachers and students is of central interest to us.
