Criteria

The earner of this badge can successfully demonstrate that they have achieved Unit 3 learning objectives:

• Describe quality education as a holistic concept and list some of the components that contribute to its realisation.

• Identify the different domains of the INEE Minimum Standards and some of the guidance available to support the application of these.

• Explain the relationship between quality education in emergencies and integrated programming and identify other sectors and actors needed to work with to achieve this.

This badge is earned by completing the necessary activities, knowledge check tasks and feedback requests within Unit 3.

Unit 3: Quality & Integrated EiE

This course unit has been developed by Save the Children in collaboration with INEE, Plan International and many other contributing partners. The EiE Online course explicitly links to the INEE Competency Framework and is a foundational pre-requisite for the accredited EiE Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS), delivered in partnership with the University of Geneva (see the EiE Professional Development Programme webpage for more information on this).
