• Earner has attended the farm soil sampling and/or biodiversity monitoring introductory training session delivered by SOS-UK. The training covered the aims of SOS-UK's Farming for Carbon & Nature work and how farming in the UK can have a positive impact on the climate and nature crises. The training also defined the purpose of the farm surveying activities, outlined the methods, and described what would happen to the soil samples or biodiversity data collected.

• Earner has volunteered their time to take soil samples and/or undertake biodiversity monitoring on at least one farm. The farm surveying requires volunteers to work as a team, methodically follow instructions to ensure scientific integrity, and to accurately and consistently label and record all samples and observations.
