The ManagEnergy Building Renovation Market Facilitation Digital Badge is designed to engage professionals, experts and staff from Energy Agencies and Regional and Local Authorities across Europe and equip them with core skills and competencies to facilitate and support the financing of large-scale sustainable energy projects. The classes will provide an overview of market facilitation services and supports which Energy Agencies can provide to enable projects to be progressed from concept through to implementation (activating market actors, identifying promising "candidate projects", establishing contacts to the financing community). Financing tools and solutions will be introduced and case studies provided of successful applications of funding models in regions across Europe. The module will draw on experiences and knowledge from a range of relevant and successful EU Initiatives and Projects. The programme is delivered in a blended learning format. A one and half-day face-to-face session in Brussels is supported with two half-day online sessions. The classes are delivered by leading energy experts who have a broad range of knowledge and training experience on the topics addressed, including senior staff from local and regional energy agencies. Those who complete the programme will gain technical, financial and strategic insights to facilitate and support the financing of large-scale sustainable energy projects in their EU regions.
