To earn this badge, participants must:
- Attend in-person or online a full Civic Journalism Lab Masterclass delivered as part of Newcastle University’s Civic Journalism Lab Masterclasses series.
- Publish a reflective LinkedIn post (approx. 300 words) within 48 hours of the event, answering three prompts:
- One key insight or quote that stood out and why.
- How it connects to their own study or practice.
- How they might apply it in future work.
- Tag @Newcastle University and @Civic Journalism Lab.
- Submit the public URL link to their post via an official verification form.
- The reflection must demonstrate authenticity, specificity and personal engagement with the session content.
