The #CreativeCoding 2025 badge is awarded on the successful creation and submission of a Dear Data 100 Demo Sketch as part of a #CreativeCoding activity in Computer Science in October-December 2025. This involves original and substantive data collection, expressive data depiction and exploratory data discovery, coded in a Processing sketchbook. The owner of this badge participated in a challenging voluntary learning activity, and in doing so went the extra mile in their Computer Science education. They have core programming skills and have demonstrated creativity in their approach by producing and submitting a Dear Data 100 Demo.
