Digital Discovery Tool

Digital skills are important for studying, working and accessing services. Students from the Technological University (TU) sector in Ireland are invited to participate in a digital capabilities self-assessment to learn more about your digital skills in an easy and interactive way, discover your current digital skills level and explore the next steps to improving them.

This self-assessment gives a better understanding of your digital skills level. You will be able to find courses to improve your skills; communicate your digital skills better with lecturers, peers and employers; and get a personalised learning roadmap to reach your learning goal. The Digital Discovery Tool focuses on 4 key themes:

· Information (e.g., storage, search, critical evaluation, self-service)

· Communication (e.g., active participation, collaboration, social awareness, media choice)

· Production (e.g., configuration, automation, digital exploration, production & sharing)

· Safety (e.g., health, data protection, identity management, law)
