Lead School for Music

Earning Criteria:

• Organisation has been an active part of the Lead Schools for Music: Development Group which supports Sussex Music Hub to deliver and develop its engagement plan for schools. The Group meets three times throughout the academic year.

• Organisation has attended regular school network meetings convened by Sussex Music Hub and supported relevant localised networks, including where possible being a host school.

• Organisation has piloted different models of peer support, such as facilitating peer networking sessions and/or leading workshops or training sessions on behalf of Sussex Music Hub, as requested.

• Organisation has advocated for the importance of music education and promoted clear learning pathways across Sussex Music Hub for its pupils and for other local schools.

• Organisation has supported Sussex Music Hub to effectively deliver local collaborative projects such as Sussex Music Hub teacher conferences, singing projects (Big Sing, One Voice), partnership projects taking place in schools and transition events.

• Organisation has contributed towards the development and implementation of Sussex Music Hub's School Engagement Strategy.
