OSINT Advanced - Registered OSINT Specialist ®
During the “OSINT Advanced” follow-up training, the participants learn additional skills required to conduct an in-depth investigation on the Internet. After completing this training, the participants can conduct an extensive investigation on the Internet . They can interpret the information they encounter and then verbalise/report it in the right context. Upon successful completion of the training, participants will receive the Registered OSINT Specialist ® Badge.

Criteria
Criteria
To receive this Badge and to be allowed to carry the title Registered OSINT Specialist ® from the Stichting Permanente Educatie Nederland the following criteria have been established.
- The OSINT Basic Training from DataExpert must be followed completely.
- The OSINT Advanced Training from DataExpert must be followed completely.
- The final test must be passed.
Acquired competences and skills
- Gaining insight into more in-depth methodologies for OSINT investigations.
- Gaining insight and being able to apply the GAP analysis.
- The ability to create sock puppets on social media.
- The ability to set up and work with virtual machines for investigation purposes.
- Gaining insight into the basic operation of cryptocurrencies.
- Understanding the layering of the internet.
- Gaining insight into web techniques.
- Being able to apply the console and analyse source code of a website in an investigation.
- Gaining insight into the possibilities of geo mapping.
- Being able to apply advanced search techniques and search engines.
- Being able to conduct more in-depth investigations on social media.
- Gaining insight into encryption and PGP.
- Being able to perform tracking in mobile apps and online games.
This course is part of the OSINT training trajectory that also includes the Basic and Technical courses. After completing all three courses you will receive the OSINT Complete Badge.
