The purpose of the badge is to teach students how to identify and develop their realised strengths, spot their unrealised talents, recognise learned behaviours, and address any important skills for improvement. The badge will also explain and demonstrate the link between the strength-based approach to personal development and student success in university and work environments. Students will learn how a clear understanding of their own unique combination of strengths can help them to identify the roles, sectors and environments in which they are most likely to thrive and succeed.   • Describe and provide evidence for job-relevant strengths in written CVs, cover letters and job applications.
  • Verbalise achievements that demonstrate job-relevant strengths at job interviews.
  • Conduct informational interviews to investigate careers and industries that align with their personal strengths profile.
