Intersections of AI and sustainability: IPR, marketing, procurement, and due diligence This module offers basic knowledge of overlapping and co-existing regulatory frameworks with a view on AI and sustainability. Criteria

Recipient of the Open Badge:

  • Has basic knowledge of the effects of AI and sustainability in core areas of intellectual property law

  • Can identify risks associated with greenwashing and be able to pay responsible attention to the regulation of environmental claims

  • Has basic knowledge of what AI and sustainability mean in the context of public procurement and due diligence duties

The studies correspond to EQF level 7 / Dreyfuss Competent Performer level (3/5).

Intersections of AI and Sustainability module is a 1 ECTS training course and part of the 5 ECTS Responsible AI-Powered Organization competence training. The training was conducted in collaboration between the Faculty of Law at the University of Helsinki and the Center for Continuing Education HY+, as part of a pilot for work-life-oriented, micro-credential competence training, funded by the Service Centre for Continuous Learning and Employment.
