Criteria

The curriculum includes the following elements: Introduction to digital accessibility: An overview of the different types of disabilities and impairments and an introduction to relevant laws and regulations such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Assistive technology: Overview of different types of assistive technology, such as screen readers, magnifiers, and voice recognition software, as well as hands-on experience with these tools. Web accessibility: In-depth look at the WCAG guidelines and techniques for ensuring web accessibility and training on tools such as accessibility checkers and screen reader testing. Document Accessibility: Training on creating accessible PDFs, Word documents, and other digital documents, as well as hands-on activities.
