The earner of this badge has successfully demonstrated that they:

• Have a comprehensive understanding of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) and its critical role in humanitarian and development contexts.
• Have gained knowledge of key concepts, terminology, and the continuum of care within MHPSS, including the layers of the IASC MHPSS Pyramid of Intervention.
• Understand the importance of coordinating MHPSS services across sectors, applying inclusive approaches, and integrating Psychological First Aid (PFA) methods.
• Can recognize and address burnout, vicarious trauma, and compassion fatigue, fostering individual responsibility and accountability for the growth and development of quality MHPSS programming.

This badge is earned by completing all modules within the Foundations of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support online course and completing necessary activities, knowledge check tasks, pre/post quizzes and the feedback survey.
