Earning Criteria:
Earner has undergone mentee training, which enabled them to learn more about the programme and what will be expected from them throughout. During this session they also completed their action plans and discussed with fellow mentees what they wish to get from the programme. This session allowed them to gain confidence in themselves and the programme, raise awareness and overcome the feeling of imposter syndrome.
Earner has spent a minimum of four hours being mentored on their education and career options, so they are enabled to make informed decisions and choices as they progress through their journey. The earner was encouraged to organise these four sessions, taking responsibility and ownership of the programme. Mentors would often ask the earner to complete tasks which also developed their time management and research skills.
Earner has shown considered and clear engagement with their mentors on the programme, which has empowered and enhanced their sense of self-purpose, potential, and openness to cultural encounters.
Earner has worked through the mentoring programme and written a bespoke action plan for their career ideas and worked with their mentor to explore these. Through this activity they have developed themselves as a critical and creative learner, by exploring new avenues with confidence and thinking in a critical, creative, and enterprising manner.
Earner has completed a pre and post programme skills assessment, which evaluated the extent of skill enhancement and understanding gained throughout the programme. Through this activity they have developed themselves as a resilient and thriving individual, through the development of new skills and becoming alert to new experiences and opportunities.
Earner has networked and connected with others through attending Meet your mentor, 1:1 sessions and networking events. Through this activity they have developed themselves as a competent and confident professional, through collaboration with others and developing their communication skills throughout.
