Use industry-standard tools (e.g. Photoshop, Blender, After Effects, Houdini) to create basic VFX.
Follow the creative vision and established art style, ensuring effects fit within the overall aesthetic of the project.
Prototype simple VFX aligned with project requirements and technical constraints, ensuring they function properly in game engines.
Implement and utilise basic VFX techniques, such as particle systems, animated textures, simple shaders, timing, scale, and impact.
Create basic particle systems to represent simple effects like sparks, smoke, fire, and simple explosions.
Integrate pre-made VFX assets into game engines (e.g. Unreal, Unity), ensuring they trigger correctly in response to game events or player actions.
Collaborate with designers to understand the desired visual style and apply basic animation techniques to UI elements (e.g. buttons, icons, transitions).
