Criteria

To earn this badge, the learner must demonstrate the following:

Understanding of key concepts

Can explain the basic principles of intercultural communication (e.g., culture, communication styles, values, stereotypes, and intercultural sensitivity).
Shows awareness of the role of language, non-verbal communication, and cultural context in interactions.

Application in practice

Participates actively in a transnational team, demonstrating openness, respect, and curiosity toward cultural diversity.
Practices adapting communication strategies to different cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Contributes constructively to shared tasks and discussions, showing willingness to listen and learn from others.

Reflection and self-awareness

Reflects on personal communication style and how it influences intercultural interaction.
Identifies challenges and learning moments in transnational teamwork and considers ways to improve intercultural competence.
