This badge recognises its holder as a Facilitator of CCHN Peer Workshops on Humanitarian Negotiation. The Centre of Competence on Humanitarian Negotiation (CCHN) provides humanitarian practitioners with a safe and confidential space to exchange their practices and develop their negotiation skills in experience-based workshops. CCHN Peer Workshops are facilitated by humanitarians who have successfully participated in the CCHN Training of Facilitators, which reviews CCHN negotiation tools and strengthens specific skills and techniques regarding onsite and online facilitation and delivery.

Criteria

The earner of this badge has successfully participated in a:

  1. CCHN Peer Workshop (approximately 12 hours if online and 21 hours if onsite);
  2. CCHN Training of Facilitators (approximately 8 hours if online and 28 if onsite).

Additionally, the earner has facilitated at least two online or onsite CCHN Peer Workshops and has therefore proven a certain degree of expertise in:

  • One to seven CCHN negotiation tools
  • Active listening
  • Delivery skills
  • Facilitation

Complete facilitation of a CCHN Peer Workshop takes an average of 12 hours online and 21 hours onsite.
