To earn the Certified Decision Intelligence Analyst badge, recipients must have demonstrated applied competence in Decision Intelligence through approved assessed work.

Recipients qualify by completing one of the approved assessment paths, including earning a Certificate of Distinction in Getting Started with Decision Intelligence or completing the Certified DI Analyst certification pathway.

Qualifying work requires high performance across multiple applied assessment exercises involving Decision Intelligence concepts and methods. Recipients have demonstrated that they can create and refine causal decision diagrams, identify actions, outcomes, intermediates, externals, and dependencies, and use CDDs to reason systematically about complex decision contexts.

The assessed work includes evaluating unintended consequences, using AI to aid CDD creation and refinement, analyzing historical case studies through a CDD lens, and explaining how Decision Intelligence connects at a basic level to AI, machine learning, evidence, data, and human judgment.

The badge represents demonstrated ability to create and refine causal decision diagrams in diagram form to a professional standard.
