Equality, Diversity and Inclusion: Part 1

The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) module in the My Digital Backpack is designed to support participants in building a strong understanding of the core principles of equality, diversity, and inclusion within educational and professional environments. Through self-paced e-learning, interactive activities, scenario-based learning, and automated assessments, learners will explore key EDI concepts, recognise the value of diversity, and understand how to contribute to respectful, supportive, and inclusive communities. Participants will examine social identity, intersectionality, unconscious bias, and microaggressions, and reflect on how these factors shape people’s lived experiences. This course was developed by IADT and the IADT N-TUTORR Team. My Digital Backpack was developed under the N-TUTORR programme and funded by the European Union under the NextGenerationEU initiative, as part of Ireland’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).
