The UCC Culture Champion Bootcamp is a dynamic three-day programme designed to empower staff to drive bottom-up cultural change across the university. Grounded in data from focus groups and interviews, the bootcamp equips participants with practical tools, influence strategies, and Whole Brain® Thinking to embed the university’s CAIRDEAS values into everyday work. (Compassion, Agility, Integrity, Respect, Discovery, Equity, Accountability and Sustainability) Through storytelling, role-play, and collaborative design, culture champions will explore behavioural science, develop values-based interventions, and learn to navigate resistance. By building confidence, resilience, and peer networks, participants will leave with a clear action plan and the skills to shape a more inclusive, values-driven culture.
