Criteria

The earner of this badge can successfully demonstrate that they have achieved Module 1 learning objective: To clearly communicate the concept of and rationale for quality education in emergencies referring to its foundations, overarching aims and role in the humanitarian development nexus.

This badge is earned by completing the necessary activities, knowledge check tasks and feedback requests within Module 1.

Education in Emergencies Online Course

This Module has been developed by Save the Children in collaboration with INEE, Plan International and many other contributing partners. The EiE Online course explicitly links to the INEE Competency Framework and is a foundational pre-requisite for the accredited EiE Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS), delivered in partnership with the University of Geneva (see the EiE Professional Development Programme webpage for more information on this).
