The National Forum for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning in Higher Education, which operates under the aegis of the Higher Education Authority (HEA), is the national body responsible for leading and advising on the enhancement of teaching and learning in Irish higher education.

Criteria

Participants who complete this badge will: 1. Reflect on the Diversity of Students in their Institutions, 2. Gain a good understanding of the Universal Design for Learning framework and how it can support diverse learners, 3. Deepen their understanding of UDL through peer engagement, 4. Redesign some elements of their teaching and learning practice based on their knowledge of UDL principles, 5. Consider how they will change their practice more broadly in line with a UDL approach.
