This digital badge is officially recognised by the University of Westminster and certifies that the recipient has participated as a mentee in the Future Ready Mentoring – Computer Science Group Mentoring Programme. In one of the following modules; Professional Engineering Practice, Software Development Group Project and Information Driven, Entrepreneurship and Enterprise. Through group mentoring sessions in the classroom, students have the opportunity to gain practical insights into the working world, improve industry awareness and boost their confidence.    This badge has been awarded to the recipient for participating in at least three, one-hour-long in-person sessions as part of the Computer Science Group Mentoring programme.

Criteria

Future Ready Mentoring at Westminster offers three branches of mentoring activity: long-term, short-term and group mentoring. This digital badge recognises mentees on the Computer Science Group Mentoring Programme who have participated in three at least three, one-hour-long in-person sessions.

The Mentee:

  1. Has adhered to the Programme’s guidelines by attending sessions

  2. Has actively taken part in the programme being supported by their mentor with three sessions

  3. Has used the guidance to build their personal goals and strengths, explore career options and develop a range of transferable skills.
