What I learned:

I have learned about open recognition and open badges and how they can be used as recognition for makerspace users. Learnt about who can be recognised and who can recognize, i also liked the part that you can recognize yourself as long as you have sufficient evidence. Learnt also about RPL - Recognition of Prior Learning. I also got to learned about portfolio like CanCred Passport that you can easily link your badges to and also some other platforms.

How I can use what I learned:

We have definately started that conversation and we are looking forward to adopt this at our Fab Lab. We are looking to recognize our innovators and Lab operators but most especially our volunteers who support from community engagement to machine operations and even on resource mobilization.
